Lauren Heywood.
hello, im Lauren, im 16 years old. and an aspiring band/free lance prhotographer. Even though all i want to do is band photography, i am willing to take every opportunity thrown in my direction, and i will do anything to get there. most of my photography are concert pictures of smaller bands, or the odd big band that i use my digital compact camera for. and sometimes random things i see on days out. i also edit some of my pictures, using photoshop CS3.
most of the bands i have taken pictures of (not official photo shoots, just live on stage shots) are.
so far i have only had the opportunity to use my Cannon EOS 600D SLR at one show, but am putting myself out to get more passes into gigs, famous or not practice makes perfect afterall. up untill now all of my photos have been taken on my Fujifilm Finepix Z80, which isn't the best in low light conditions, but i am pretty proud of myself for what i have achived so far.
i would really appriciate it if you either like my photography page on facebook
or follow my photography blog on tumblr
and possibly send me feedback of what you think i need to do to improve my skills and share hints and tips and share my page, every person who takes an interest in what i do is massively appriciated and would mean the world.
i also will upload any shots i take of bands, signed or un-signed. i am currently looking for opportunities to gain photo passes for unsigned bands live shows and work my way up from there. hopefully finding someone willing to take me on as an apprentice or a online magazine to take me on and give me opportunities
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
